We grow in controlled greenhouses to sustainably produce higher quality greens. Our mission is to do so affordably.

At Hippo we grow in controlled greenhouses and deep clean between grow cycles. That means higher quality greens no matter the weather. With our growing global population, food security and sustainable food production has never been more important.

The benefits of sustainable farming at Hippo Harvest will keep good ol’ mother earth bountiful and will continue to give to our future generations.

We grow all of our lettuce in local greenhouses, not of faraway fields — reducing the distance from our farm to your belly.

We use 100% post consumer recycled packaging and 40% less total plastic than a traditional clamshell pack.
No Synthetic Pesticides

Really, we mean it. No synthetic pesticides are used, so there’s less danger to wildlife, water supplies and your overall health.

We’ve made the a pledge to achieve next Zero Emissions by 2040 as part of the Climate Pledge and are part of the Climate Pledge Fund, corporate venture program that invests in companies accelerating Amazon’s path to meeting the commitments of The Climate Pledge.
